Golf There are about 20 golf courses within easy reach of Bangkok, and most hotels will be able to arrange a game for visitors via their travel desk.
Football Thais are crazy about football, and there are stadiums that stage matches between Thailand and visiting teams from Asia and even further afield. And of course, if any big football events are being held anywhere else in the world, there is no shortage of big-screen venues where you can sit and watch the games, usually live, while enjoying snacks and drinks.

If you feel like honing your backhand and forehand skills, many major hotels have their own tennis court, and there are plenty of public tennis and squash courts throughout the city in public parks, at universities or fitness centres.
Bowling Bowling enthusiasts will find a game easily enough, the lanes usually located on the top floor of shopping malls with a host of entertainments such as cinemas, video games, karaoke lounges and food halls. |
